Overhead Gantry Crane Training on your site at your convenience. Here at Fife Training Services all our crane operator courses are fully certified. Your main decision is whether you need AITT accredited training for your crane operators, or whether in-house certification is sufficient. We understand that organising training may not be as straight forward as you think, with this in mind we have some key points to help with this when organising crane training for your staff.

Description

We offer AITT accredited operator training for a range of overhead travelling cranes (OTC), including:

R1 - Pendant‑Controlled Cranes
The crane is operated using a hand‑held pendant that is physically connected to the crane. The operator walks at ground level, guiding the crane via the attached control unit.

R2 - Remote‑Controlled Cranes
These cranes function in a similar way to pendant‑controlled systems, but the control unit is wireless. This gives the operator greater flexibility to position themselves safely and work from the most effective vantage point.
